Northern Currents - Spring 2004

Greetings from the northern Frontier!

By the time you receive this letter, in April it will be brilliantly light here until after 9 p.m!

There are so many unique and fascinating qualities in our northern home. For those of us who call it home, it’s heaven on earth. But, I understand – it’s not for everyone to live here year ‘round. And frankly I’m grateful for this.

On the other hand, summer in our northern frontier has appeal for nearly everyone.

As I look around our increasingly connected globe, it becomes clear that from no other frontier in the world can you launch into such pristine wilderness from such hospitable, safe and stable, frontier communities, like those of our north. The scenery, flora, fauna, phenomena and villages are incomparable on a world scale. Indeed, people from around the world come here to seek out their piece of paradise!

With the economy back on track and the reality that “time isn’t standing still”, I urge you to join us for your next adventure this summer. I assure you, it will be a choice for which you will be thankful for the rest of your life.
