Perhaps one of the Coppermine's best known landmarks is Bloody Fall. Named by Samuel Hearne on his expedition in 1771, it was the location of a bloody massacre. Your guides will relate the entire story.
If you are watchful, you may have the good fortune of spotting a copper spear head. Unfortunately we cannot remove artifacts but such a find will provide a lifetime of dinner stories for you!
The river and land are broad and expansive.
The Coppermine winds through the tundra, cutting a series of cliffs which are home to raptors such as golden eagles, peregrine and gyrfalcon.

With watchful eyes we should see Muskox. These majestic, long-haired creatures seem to be a prehistoric throw-back.
