Join us for canoeing on the historic Nahanni River from its headwaters to Lindberg’s Landing. This is a classic Class III whitewater canoeing adventure on the Nahanni for skilled expert paddlers.

We travel by 2-person canoes on the Nahanni River from Moose Ponds to Lindberg's Landing, approximately 530 km (330 miles) with an elevation drop of 915 m (3,000 feet).

Additional Nahanni River Trip Notes:
Wet suits or dry suits and helmets are mandatory for this trip. Prior to Day 8 the group must decide if the spare time is to be spent hiking in the Glacier Lake area (spectacular but demanding) or the Deadmen Valley area (equally spectacular). On rare occasions, we can encounter high winds and waves on the Liard. If this is the case we will have to choose between waiting it out, hiring a native-owned power boat or calling an aircraft. In such a case you will be included in the decision-making process. The cost of this additional transport would be split evenly among the guests.
