Dick Bauer
Dick's lifetime work as a research biologist, naturalist and teacher has taken him to the Antarctic, Russia and remote islands throughout the South Pacific with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. When he is not guiding in Belize, Dick lives in Oregon where he can be close to his daughter and grandchildren. We have lost count on how many years Dick has led trips with us in Belize.
Dean "Jack" Wilde
Dean has been leading trips on the sea for over a decade. A marine biologist with a lively curiosity with all things to do with the sea, he has gained a reputation as an exceptional teacher in the field. Dean is an accomplished sea kayaker and wilderness guide and is admired for his easy-going style and unflappable way of dealing with whatever comes his way.
Cait Good
A paddler, naturalist and a marine biologist, Cait brings all here considerable energy and skills together to orchestrate great trips every time. Cait's addition to our Belize team adds a solid wilderness guide. We are excited to be working with Cait as she evolves into a world-class tropical sea kayak guide.
Jaime Sharp
Hailing from New Zealand in the South Pacific, Jaime blends his love for adventure and photography with a lifetime explore coral reefs and rainforests of the tropics.
Michael MacKenzie
Whether guiding dog-sledding treks in Ontario, teaching with Outward Bound, or paddling the reefs and rivers of Belize, Mike is one of our senior guides. Joining us for his 5th season in Belize this year, Mike will be leading our multi-day river trips in the deep south. His love of the Mayan culture, as well as his cool leadership has caused him to develop many lasting relationships in the small villages of the Toledo District.
David Briggs We are excited to have Dave for his fourth season in Belize. Where he has learned to love reef as he does the jungle. Leading our Coral Jaguar Expedition for the last few years, Dave has developed deep respect for the rainforest of Belize. An accomplished sea kayaker, as well as a whitewater guide.
