I enjoy life in Canmore with my spouse Heather, biking, paddling, climbing a little, skiing and playing music. 2018 has brought interesting folks into our lives including our fourth grand child and many new friends. Guiding is living outside while showing interesting folks what I love about the magical places and rivers we get to explore. I look forward to the coming year and the wonderful opportunities that it will bring. Many of my dearest friends are folks with whom I’ve traveled the rivers of the world.
After another great season at Nahanni, I am currently living in Canmore.
In my spare time I will enjoy skiing, Nordic skiing, hiking, mountain biking, stand up paddling and spending copious amounts of time outside.
I’ve traveled a little this year too. I enjoy other cultures, music and art.
We sold the family home in Edmonton and moved to Canmore full time. I have been lucky to run rivers, ski, travel, meet great people, cycle and motorcycle all over. It’s embarrassing how much I’ve done. Ouch. Right now I’m traveling by motorcycle in Tuscany while attending my great (formerly NNP chief interrupter) friend Sophie Borcoman’s wedding. Crazy year.
Looking forward to continuing to work as a guide when I can.
I currently make my home in Canmore with frequent trips to Edmonton. I enjoy adventures of a wide varitety, from rafting rivers all over the place to motorcycling in remote locations to hiking, mountain biking and climbing near my home in Canmore and finally to World travel. These couple few years have seen me in Iceland, Grand Canyon, Ireland, Mexico, Morocco, Costa Rica and the UK doing a variety adventures. Further I enjoy making and listening to music with people around the world. In 2016 I plan to go to the Grand Canyon, Mexico and Sweden for a start.
I am living in Canmore and Edmonton. Hanging with family, biking, hiking, canoeing, skiing and motorcycling. Edmonton has family and friends. Canmore has new friends and mountains and rivers to play in.
Been doing lots of travel. Cuba for a music trip, Italy by Ducati with music thrown in, Utah for family and hiking and Vancouver Island on my own Ducati. Lovely year so far. Heading to Mexico and Arizona next week. Looking to retire from the fire department and continue my career in Guiding next summer. I still love playing basketball. It is a joy for me to visit with the my guiding friends like Gribben and Collins.
