I began raft guiding in the Rockies four years ago and after studying Adventure Leadership I made my way to the Nahanni for the first time in 2011 and fell in love with the canyons. Virginia Falls in mesmerizing and I can’t spend enough time there. I love finding a few minutes to play my guitar in camp.
Loving life at Enviros where I work as an animated environmental educator with some of the best youth this planet has to offer. Looking forward to making my way north again this summer to spend some time guiding on our beloved rivers.
What can I say, life was perfect this summer with an entire season spent “beneath the midnight sun”. Now I have landed a position at Enviros in Alberta, working with disadvantaged youth in the wilderness setting.
Had another great summer, guiding on the spectacular Nahanni River, then getting the pleasure to do a trip on the beautiful Tatshenshini River. My summer ended spending time in Whitehorse and adventuring around the territory, going to Haines Alaska, Dawson City, Tombstones and then heading out to an old family cabin on Tagish Lake.
I spent the fall with my family out in Barrhead, Alberta.
My winter plans are still to be determined, but will be focussing on creating some new river tunes on the guitar.
Safe travels everyone.
