I often get asked how I started whitewater canoeing and guiding. I was fortunate to go to University for Outdoor Adventure Leadership which is where I fell in love with backcountry canoe trips and the places it opens up to visit. The majority of my guiding has been in Temagami Ontario, but I am happy that I have been given the chance to continue to expand the areas I get to explore. Along with the opportunity to continue to introduce people to the wonders of trip!

During the winter months, I continue to find any water that is not frozen to paddle. I also find myself teaching elementary school, coaching various sports and winter camping.
