Jeremy Flamand

Hey there!

My name is Jeremy Flamand, and my guiding background has primarily been rafting on the Nahanni, Tatshenshini, and Alsek rivers here in the North.

I was born in the Yukon Territory, grew up in British Columbia, and have lived around Canada and the world since. I came back to visit the Yukon in 2014 when I quickly became entranced and decided to stay. The wild mountains, the pristine waters, and the strong and vibrant community filled with characters all made this place a very special home.

Though I grew up in the wilderness of the Yukon and northern BC, I found my true love of mountain sport and wilderness travel as an adult between the Canadian North and my time living in Norway. It was there I really invested in skiing, climbing, paddling, and general mountain craft as a passion with focus and direction.

After many years working in an office and the city, my love of adventure and the mountains eventually brought me to take a chance and invest in the outdoors full-time. I have been fortunate to have the chance to join a passionate and talented team of paddlers where I can continue to expand my knowledge and passion for our northern watersheds.

When I’m not in the office or guiding, I am coaching mountain biking, climbing, backcountry skiing, and spending time with the great community of the soulful humans that make the North their home.

I’ll look forward to getting the chance to connect with more of you – and hopefully see you on the river – to share in a mutual passion and appreciation for the wild world we are fortunate to be a part of!
