Carson Yach

Carson is a river rat true to his name. Growing up on rivers in Washington State and Idaho, Carson has spent years of his life exploring the mountains, rivers, lakes, and oceans of North America.  After completing University and studying Environmental Education, Carson spent the next 11 years living and working seasonally guiding in the summers and playing in the winters.  He has spent hundreds of days paddling canoes throughout the Inside Passage of Coastal Alaska where he led month long expeditions with Alaskan Youth.  He learned to Row rafts in interior Alaska on the mighty Susitna River, and has spent several summers rowing gear and baggage down in the Grand Canyon in Arizona both commercially and for fun!  Carson now lives in the Canadian Rockies in Revelstoke, BC, with his equally adventurous wife.  They mountain bike almost daily, and ski and snowboard all winter. Carson is currently working at beginning to become a Red Seal Carpenter and residential builder.  But most of the time he just loves to carve wooden spoons, make wooden crafts, and carve canoe paddles.
