Chris was born and raised in Quesnel, BC. He was first drawn to rivers when he was 14 and invited on a rafting trip by Tyler Dinsdale, another CRE guide, on the Chilcotin River. After that, he’d frequently accompany Ty on rafting trips and eventually started working for Ty’s company Big Canyon Rafting in and around Quesnel. Later he began working for REO rafting on the Nahatlatch and Canadian River Expeditions. When Chris isn’t guiding rafts you can most often find him kayaking or skiing.
