Rubberized Rain Gear

We provide rubberized rain gear free of charge for all raft guests, please select the size you would typically wear in outwear. The suits are intended to be roomy to accommodate additional layers on cool days. You may also choose to bring your own light weight, Gore-Tex rain gear for wearing on hikes or in camp.

Boat rentals are only available on our raft based adventures on the Nahanni River.

One inflatable canoe will be provided for all guests to share. If you would like a personal craft to spend time in, please request an Inflatable Kayak or Packraft. Hardshell canoes are available to guests with whitewater canoeing experience for $300, please contact the office to arrange.

Ordering Beverages

For safety and weight reasons we cannot bring glass bottles. Beer and non-alcoholic beverages will be purchased in cans. For each glass bottle of wine ordered you need to also order a PlatyPreserve (non-glass) container. Your order will be decanted into PlatyPreserves and packed prior to your arrival.

**Please be advised that there will not be time to stop at the local liquor store prior to your departure out to the river. We ask that all orders be submitted to our office by March 1.

There is a limit to the volume of beer, wine and other beverages (per person) that we can bring on the trip due to finite boat space, weight restrictions when we fly-in, and personal safety. Also remember that on trips like the Nahanni we need to portage all of our gear (and liquor) around Virginia Falls. The limits are as follows:

• 750ml wine = 1 unit
• 1 pack of beer = 2 units
• 1 pack of non-alcoholic beverages = 2 units

Brand availability may vary throughout the season, we will do our best to fulfill your order but may need to substitute.
