Hello Nahanni River Adventures and Canadian River Expeditions Family!
Over the last four years I have had the immense privilege of helping our guests plan their dream journeys on some of the North’s most iconic rivers. I have been lucky enough to meet many of you in person, and with many more I have been on the other end of the phone or email, answering questions, helping with planning and my favorite part, hearing all about your experiences and seeing your incredible photos of your various northern adventures!
It is with mixed feelings that I announce that my time with this incredible organization is coming to an end as I move on to a new adventure.
I have been given an exciting new opportunity working as a Youth Recreation Support Worker here in Whitehorse. I will be working directly with indigenous youth in the Whitehorse community, planning and implementing land based recreation programs on the traditional territories of the Kwalin Dün First Nation and Ta’an Kwäch’än Council. While I am very excited to embark on this new adventure, it is certainly bittersweet.
Working with Joel and Dana and our incredible team of talented guides and staff over the last few years has been incredibly rewarding and I feel so lucky to have been a part of this amazing crew, sharing our passion for the North with our wonderful guests!
I am very excited to be involved in the transition and training of our newest team member Jeremy (who I am sure you will all enjoy getting to know) alongside Joel and Dana, so you can rest assured we will have a smooth transition, and you can know the new voice on the end of the line is ready to help you plan your trip of a lifetime!
While I will no longer be your main point of contact, I will certainly still be around checking in from time to time and I look forward to running into some of you every now and again!
