I was born and raised in Saskatchewan on a farm. Growing up I enjoyed competitive sports and found my love of the outdoors through biathlon and camping with my family. It wasn’t until University that I discovered paddling and wilderness travel. Through the Outdoor Education Program at Augustana, I learned about guiding and found my passion for the North. After working for the University in the summers, running youth river trips, I got the opportunity to work for Nahanni River Adventures. I started with the company in 2014 and continually look forward to spending my summers on Northern rivers. The unique landscapes, history, excitement of exploring new places and getting to share these pristine places with others is what brings me back each year.

When I am not on the river, you will find me enjoying life on the prairies with my husband and being kept busy working in agriculture.
