Outfitter, guide, author and founder of Nahanni River Adventures: Neil Hartling, was recently honored with the Distinguished Alumni Award from Augustana College (University of Alberta) where he completed some of his early studies.

The award was in recognition for his ongoing work in Northern conservation issues, contributions to the Outdoor Education program, and employment of graduates.

Yukon artists Jane Isakson and Joyce Majiski will be presenting northern art, including paintings from the Tatsheshini/Alsek and Burnside Rivers at the Toronto Art Expo this March 6th through 9th.  The Expo event is at the Toronto Metro Convention Centre.
